


A great article in the New York Times today about the deeply flawed legal U.S. immigration system, where in some cases legal, law-abiding residents are threatened with deportation because of technical errors on their applications for citizenship. In one instance, a Croatian man was threatened with deportation after he twice failed to appear for fingerprinting — even though the man is quadriplegic and unable to leave his home.
